And let’s face it, we can’t all be swilling egg nog for breakfast. Jesus. Some of us have car-pool for cryin’ out loud!
In case you need a reminder, do this. . .in a hurry!
1. Find something appropriately sized and round to trace circles on to card stock or scrapbook paper or paper bags or magazine pages – whatever works with your decor and budget.
2. Trace, cut, repeat.
3. Use a stencil and pencil to trace letters onto the cut-out circles.
4. Paint the letters. Or outline them with a marker. . .or color them. . .the options are endless.
5. Use tape to attach the stenciled circles to twine, ribbon, etc. – whatever works with your holiday cheer. Hang everywhere. Smile.
Be Merry and Bright because I said so Damnit!
It took maybe 20 minutes to complete the entire project.
This would be a fun thing to do with children that are learning to write and spell. . .offer them a table-full of pre-stenciled paper disks and have them decorate them accordingly for their rooms, for Grandparents’ gifts, etc. Add photos. Add felt. Make the circles smaller for a banner for the tree. . .for the window. . .for the dog. . .
